Day 30 » A photograph of yourself today + three good things that have happened in the past 30 days.

1. The SF Giants won the World Series!

2. Renz and I got and setup our first christmas tree!

3. My parents came back (for the 2nd time this  year) for a visit.

It has been a great 30 days and I’m looking for ward to the next 30 without having to blog everyday! Blog challenge – completed! : )

Day 29 » Something you could never get tired of doing.

I don’t think I’ll ever get tired of traveling. Sure, there are those days when I just really want to be lazy and stay in the house to do nothing. But, if there’s a chance to go somewhere new, I don’t think I’ll ever pass it up. My foot is itching to go out and see the world!  I truly envy those people who get to travel for a living.

Day 28 » Your favorite movie.

I fell in love with airports ever since I was 8 years old and I have always loved them. Up till now, I love being in airports. No matter which airport it is, whether I’m going or coming, I love the feeling I get when I’m in airports. I love watching the people that are there and wondering and imagining what their stories are – why they are possibly traveling. I have actually cried while watching some people (strangers to me) say goodbye to each other at airports.

I love how this movie starts and ends with the airport. I like the different stories that are all inter-twined. I love that it’s set during Christmas time.  It’s a feel good movie. : )

Day 27 » A picture of where you were you last year. and now and how have you changed since then?

*I think* we did our first wedding ocular around this same time last year and inquired for possible dates with the church reservations. The place in the picture above is NOT where we got married or had our reception. At the time though, it seemed like it would be a possible location. It sure doesn’t feel like it’s only been a year!

Day 26 » A photo of somewhere you’ve been to.

One of the stops during our Beijing (2009) was the Forbidden City! We went there the week of China’s National day so there were A LOT of tourists. It was packed with people so it was a little bit hard to imagine the good ‘ol days.

I should probably try to get a copy of the Last Emperor movie. Hmm…

Day 25 » What’s in your purse refrigerator?

Our refrigerator is almost always full. It’s hard to get rid of food when there’s only 2 people in the house. We both like to cook but sometimes it’s hard to cook just enough for 2 so there’s usually always leftovers in the refrigerator. We definitely need to clear it up soon…we need space for christmas stuff!

I think I might’ve already posted this picture already in this blog but I do love it so if I did, it’s worth a re-post. This photo was taken during one of the days that we were going around Binondo. I just love how Ali is hugging Renz’s leg showing how much she likes him. It makes me smile. : )

I won’t finish the list because this has got to be the most boring topic in the challenge and I’m sleepy. I wish I had access to some Vietnamese street coffee right now.

Day 22 » A letter to someone who has hurt you recently your fairy godperson.

Dear fairy godperson,

Please make it easier for me and my loved ones to travel wherever we wish. Sometime the world seems so small but in reality, we are too far apart.

I wish for an ideal world where we can visit loved ones who are living in other countries whenever we feel like ‘just stoping by’. I wish for time and economics to matter less. I wish we can have the luxury to go wherever we want to without having to worry about visas and the like.

Please grant me this wish.

The beach makes me happy.

I love the sound of the water, I love the sand, I love the smell of sun block, I love everything that has to do with beaches.

Speaking of…it’s been way too long since I’ve been to the beach.
