Day 28 » Your favorite movie.

I fell in love with airports ever since I was 8 years old and I have always loved them. Up till now, I love being in airports. No matter which airport it is, whether I’m going or coming, I love the feeling I get when I’m in airports. I love watching the people that are there and wondering and imagining what their stories are – why they are possibly traveling. I have actually cried while watching some people (strangers to me) say goodbye to each other at airports.

I love how this movie starts and ends with the airport. I like the different stories that are all inter-twined. I love that it’s set during Christmas time.  It’s a feel good movie. : )

Finally, we were able to go to Batanes! It was only on our 3rd try that we finally got ‘affordable’ tickets to go straight to Basco.

On our way there, weather conditions in Basco were preventing the plane to land properly so we had to land in Laoag first to re-fuel. The pilot announced that he’d try one more time and if he still can’t land, we would go back to Manila. Boo!

Fortunately, he was able to land and we were finally able to experience the much-awaited Batanes! It REALLY is as beautiful as they say it is. Well-worth the money we saved and spent.

sto nino

Ati-Atihan, the celebration of the Sto. Nino by the people of Kalibo. One big street party held every 3rd week of January. Less rules and restrictions compared to Sinulog and Dinagyang…more booze and partying. 🙂

More pictures will be available here.

Goodbye to 2008 and Hello to 2009!

I’m excited about 2009…this is the year I graduate! (hopefully :p)

Happy Birthday to my Daddy! I miss you and wish you many, many more birthdays to come! 🙂

post christmas post

Time flies by so fast, next thing you know, it’ll be Christmas 2009 already!

Merry Christmas and Happy New Year everybody!

After the Halloween Fun Run at the Fort, we went to Manila Memorial in PQUE to visit Summer’s mom and nephew. Spending the night there was, surprisingly, not scary.
